Safe Sex

In reality there is no such thing as safe sex. The only safe sex barring abstinence is with a condom that includes no foreplay or transmission of any bodily fluids to the other party. Most couples partake in a multitude of interactions during sex making it close to impossible to complete the task without the exchange of some body fluids.

It is in fact the body fluids we produce that transmit the various STD’s and Venereal Diseases to one another that keep them perpetual. There are many different types to choose from so don’t it is just about herpes or AIDS.

The first step both men and women should take is "BUY CONDOMS”. Yes, even the ladies. When a man goes to woman’s house and she has condoms, don’t judge her for her sexual prowess – praise her for her sexual education. Condoms are not foolproof from breaking or transmitting diseases but are your BEST DEFENSE against these conditions. Also, there are different types of condoms as well so shop around. You can reduce the risk of condom breakage if you buy condoms that fit. Trojan carries Magnums as well as XXL sizes. If the condom is too tight and there is friction your risk for breakage goes up exponentially.

The second major step in SAFE SEX is protecting you and your partner from an UNWANTED PREGNANCY. Women should never assume that the condom won’t break and men should never assume that the woman is on birth control. Have that discussion as soon as she starts taking her clothes off – even if you use a condom. If she is not on the pill and you use a condom it would be advisable to "pull out” at the point of ejaculation or orgasm. This way if the condom has broken or does break you will be a lot safer.

The best defense is a good offense – preparing in advance with condoms and other forms of birth control to thwart off unnecessary diseases or unwanted children is just plain smart. In addition to the aforementioned tactics the other alternative is to only play in "foreplay”. Even in foreplay though you still risk transmission of disease, but you rule out the pregnancy factor.

Whatever the case may be – always communicate with your partner first and discuss both subjects with each other. Simply put, a 5 minute conversation about SAFE SEX could save you both a lot of unnecessary trouble. When it comes to sex, nobody wants trouble so until you are married or certain you are in a monogamous relationship only practice SAFE SEX. You love life and your whole life is one and the same so don’t leave it to chance and don’t leave it up to your partner – it is up to you.
